Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hilly Berrington!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tug misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Berrington.

My spies in Handsome Guys Gym inform me that Berrington has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Tug is bucking up trying to escape but Berrington cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Berrington is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Tug's half guard.
Berrington is taking a breather. Tug says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Berrington takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Berrington throws some wild stikes that Tug manages to avoid easily.
Berrington throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Tug is desperately trying to improve his position but Berrington has a good base and remains in mount.

Tug parries the strikes from Berrington easily there. Berrington is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Tug to escape.

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Berrington is continuing to stall.
Tug is trying to control Berrington's posture but Berrington avoids it.
Berrington tries to score with some ground and pound. Tug controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Tug takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Berrington tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mark Tug's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
