Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Crone Moans!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Peter Branson and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Moans. That snapped Piano's head back.
Piano misses with a body shot.
A telegraphed right hand from Moans misses the target.
Piano connects with a good right hand that stumbles Moans. Moans circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like Crone Moans has been cut.
Moans moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Moans throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Piano counters with a left to the body.
Moans misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Piano is looking to counter punch.
Moans with a hook.
Crone Moans seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Moans tries to land a front kick but Piano steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Piano changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Moans throws a leg kick that misses.
Moans clobbers Piano with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Moans throws a low kick but Piano avoids it.
Moans scores with a nice right hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Piano has taken the fight to the clinch.
Piano prevents Moans from breaking the clinch.
Piano blocking some punches.

Piano jumps into guard, dragging Moans to the mat.
Piano lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Piano controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Piano with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Piano in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Piano lands a couple of digs.
Piano throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Piano pushing down on Moans's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Moans really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Piano. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Moans is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

Moans blocking the ground and pound attempt from Piano.
Moans trying to hold on to Piano's head to control him but Piano postures up.
Piano not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Piano not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Piano is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Moans!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Moans can do anything to dispel that myth.
Piano misses with a head shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Piano lands a big elbow.
Piano looking to ground and pound but Moans is blocking nicely.
Piano punishing his opponent with strikes.
Piano putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!

Moans is rocked!
Piano unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Moans wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Piano celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nick Piano!
Nick Piano tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
