Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rami Vaaraniemi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ernesto Guevara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vaaraniemi closes the distance and clinches.
Guevara tries to pull guard but Vaaraniemi holds him up against the cage and eventually Guevara drops back down to his feet.

Vaaraniemi tightens his grip and picks Guevara up, before dumping him to the ground. Guevara manages to land in guard.
Vaaraniemi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Vaaraniemi wants to stand but Guevara has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Guevara looking for a guillotine here but Vaaraniemi defends easily.
Vaaraniemi trying to control the position from guard on top but Guevara is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vaaraniemi tries to stand but Guevara is controlling from the bottom.

Guevara had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Vaaraniemi is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Guevara Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Vaaraniemi's back instead.
Guevara is hanging on to Vaaraniemi's back as he tries to escape.
Well, with Guevara on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Vaaraniemi is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Vaaraniemi manages to reverse the position and now he's in Guevara's guard. Nice work there by Vaaraniemi.

Guevara is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Vaaraniemi frees his head nicely. Oh but Guevara has switched to an armbar! Vaaraniemi is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
