Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Top Shottah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge Cadete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Top Shottah!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jorge Cadete!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Lou da Vinci and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cadete looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Cadete wants to stand up but Shottah is controlling the position.
Shottah is looking to improve his position.
Cadete wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shottah blocking the ground and pound attempt from Cadete.
Shottah tries to get to full guard but Cadete has control of the leg.
Shottah punching from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Some bone on bone action there as Shottah checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Cadete throws and low kick but Shottah moves out of range easily.
Cadete fails to land with a series of punches.
Cadete throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Cadete throws out a loose jab but Shottah uses good head movement to avoid it.
Shottah with a lazy takedown attempt
and Cadete counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Cadete shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Shottah's guard.
Shottah has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cadete can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Shottah has his feet on Cadete's thighs here. He's pushed Cadete off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Cadete screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
