Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Caboose Delgrande (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Hurt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Reed Andrews and Alyssa Summers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delgrande misses with a takedown attempt - Hurt sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Hurt is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hurt is looking to land body kicks.

Delgrande clinches.
Delgrande gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Hurt.
Delgrande tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Delgrande stops a takedown attempt from Hurt.
Hurt throws a punch but it's blocked by Delgrande.
Delgrande wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Delgrande tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hurt smiles and moves away.
Delgrande shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hurt as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Caboose Delgrande. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Hurt throws a solid leg kick but Delgrande takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Hurt.

Delgrande closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
It looks like Delgrande is going to stand back up.
Hurt is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Delgrande jumps into side control!
Hurt wants to get back to his feet.
Hurt is not content to let Delgrande control the position.
Hurt is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Delgrande decides to stand back up.
Hurt thuds his shin into the meat of Delgrande's side.
Delgrande connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Delgrande keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Delgrande shoots in but Hurt avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Delgrande clinches up against the cage.

Delgrande escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Delgrande throws a jab when Hurt was well out of range.
Hurt throws a shot from downtown. Delgrande moves away and avoids it.

and Delgrande counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hurt won't be happy with that.

Hurt is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Delgrande goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Hurt has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Delgrande but great work by Hurt.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hurt is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Delgrande is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Delgrande sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Delgrande is looking for a sweep. Hurt is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Delgrande is pressing down on Hurt's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Delgrande tries to land a sweep but no joy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Caboose Delgrande dominated that round.
That's time! Delgrande's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Delgrande tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hurt swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hurt shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Delgrande moves into the clinch.
Delgrande tries to pull guard but Hurt holds him up against the cage and eventually Delgrande drops back down to his feet.
Hurt throws a head punch that misses.

Delgrande breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hurt with a poor takedown

and Delgrande counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hurt's guard now.

Hurt can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Delgrande controls the pace.

Delgrande stands and throws Hurt's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Hurt is trying to get back to half guard.
Hurt manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Delgrande is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hurt's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hurt's back!

Delgrande has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Hurt! Can he survive? No! He's out! Delgrande gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
