The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dunham throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tonkov sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Tonkov misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Dunham.
Tonkov moves out of range as Dunham strikes.
Dunham jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Tonkov connects with a jab.

It looks like Pete Dunham has been cut.
Dunham pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Tonkov throws a head kick but Dunham moves out of range.
Tonkov looks to land a combination but Dunham avoids it well.

Tonkov on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Tonkov lands a front kick to the face, that drops Dunham to the canvas! Is he dazed or just shocked? He's back to his feet and the referee is going to allow him to continue the fight!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dunham throws the left hand but Tonkov avoids the punch easily.
As Dunham backs off Tonkov throws a huge counter combo but Dunham manages to avoid it all.
A nice leg kick lands there from Dunham.
Tonkov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Dunham throws a big shot that misses.
We've been informed that Tonkov has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Dunham throws out a loose jab but Tonkov uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tonkov throws a big shot that misses.
Tonkov uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dunham.
Tonkov is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Dunham walks into a perfectly timed head kick by Tonkov and drops face first to the floor! Dunham's eyes are wide open but he's not all there - he's just flopping around the mat like a drunk on rollerskates! The referee doesn't even start the count - he's called an end to the fight, with Dunham in no position to continue!
