The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lawson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Bowser is not content to let Lawson control the position.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Bowser stalks Lawson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Lawson's face. Lawson staggers backwards, shaken.
Lawson fails with a takedown attempt.
Lawson tries to clinch up but Bowser circles away and keeps his distance.
Bowser misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lawson.
Bowser looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Bowser comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Lawson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bowser as he avoids it easily.
Lawson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bowser defends it nicely.
Leon Bowser has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brendan Lawson.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lawson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bowser but Bowser pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Lawson looks for a takedown but Bowser sprawls well.
Bowser leaves Lawson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Lawson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bowser.

Lawson moves into range and clinches up with Bowser.
Lawson has Bowser pressed against the cage, preventing Bowser from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Bowser tightens his grip and picks Lawson up, before dumping him to the ground. Lawson manages to land in guard.
Bowser loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Lawson looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Bowser is defending well. Lawson quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Bowser has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Lawson celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
