Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Crucifix Hill (ranked 4274 p4p, 4429 weight class) and Kevin Submission (ranked 491 p4p, 507 weight class). The key to victory for Crucifix Hill has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Crucifix Hill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Kevin Submission!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Patrick Alders and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hill closes the distance and clinches.

Hill breaks the clinch.
Submission tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hill paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Submission just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromHill.

Hill closes the distance and pushes Submission back into the cage.

We've been told by Hill's head coaches at Aloha MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Submission fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Hill misses with an uppercut.

Submission gets tackled into the cage by Hill. Hill maintains the clinch.
Submission is working for takedown but Hill is calmly controlling the position for now.
Submission jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hill walks away with a smile on his face. Submission gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Crucifix Hill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kevin Submission.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Submission moves in looking to clinch but Hill pushes him off.
Hill went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Hill rushes Submission and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Hill breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hill stuffs the takedown attempt from Submission. Submission gets slowly back to his feet.

Hill tries to close the distance and clinch but Submission swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Submission feints the counter takedown.

Hill clinches.
Hill slows down the pace here.

Submission is trying to trip Hill. He has hold of a leg but Hill is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Submission persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Hill will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Submission tries to free his leg and advance position but Hill is retaining full guard.
Submission is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Submission engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Hill not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Submission trying to control the position from guard on top but Hill is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Submission trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Submission wants to control from the top but Hill keeps moving.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Hill is looking to clinch but Submission is avoiding it.
Hill throws a head kick that half lands.

Hill stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hill wants it to stay on the feet.
Submission takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Hill pushes Submission up against the cage in a clinch.
Hill stalling.
Submission changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Hill fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Hill darts in and clinches Submission up against the cage.
Submission has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hill is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Hill lands a nice uppercut.

Hill breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Submission closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hill quickly recovers to half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Submission slows the pace down in half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Submission is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hill sees it coming and defends easily.
Hill desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Hill knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Submission on the ground.
Hill wants to control but Submission is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Submission is working for a submission of some sort.
Submission is keen to just control but Hill is a slippery customer.
Submission has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Submission looking to control but Hill is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Crucifix Hill dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Hill has managed to clinch.

Submission is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Hill can't fight it off and eventually Submission manages to take the fight to the floor. Hill looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Hill is looking for a sweep. Submission is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Hill is refusing to be controlled, as Submission sits in half guard.

Submission maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Hill could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Submission has cracked it and Hill is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Submission!
