Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alphonzo Mirage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 18 - 0, fighting out of New York, Spencer Rubenstein!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mirage with a nice calf kick.
Rubenstein takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A low kick from Mirage misses
and Rubenstein counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Alphonzo Mirage has been cut.
Mirage throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rubenstein blocks a low kick nicely.
Rubenstein looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Mirage misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rubenstein.
Rubenstein jabs Mirage to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Rubenstein blocks a low kick nicely.
Rubenstein looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mirage fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rubenstein has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Mirage tries to land a body kick
and Rubenstein connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mirage shoots in for a double leg but Rubenstein sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
And Rubenstein responds with a good body kick, but Mirage manages to step out the way in time.
Rubenstein moves away from the strike by Mirage.
It seemed like Rubenstein was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Mirage throws a half hearted mid kick.
Mirage swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Rubenstein throws a counter combo.
Mirage misses with a hook. Rubenstein ducked under it nicely.
Rubenstein swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Mirage goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Rubenstein! But no joy.
Rubenstein cracks Mirage with a good jab.
A decent looking cross lands there for Mirage.
Mirage cracks Rubenstein with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Mirage explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Mirage moves out of range as Rubenstein strikes.
Mirage smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Mirage lands a nice looking body shot.

Mirage throws a body shot but no joy.
Mirage throws a leg kick but Rubenstein moved away.
Rubenstein looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Mirage fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Mirage's corner calls for a 1-2. Mirage obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

A bone on bone clash there as Rubenstein blocks the leg kick.
Mirage throws a head kick but Rubenstein moves out of range.

We've been told by Mirage's head coaches at Bear Jew's baseball camp that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Mirage works the jab nicely.
Mirage does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Rubenstein swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Rubenstein moves away from the strike by Mirage.
Rubenstein unleashes a big counter combination but Mirage bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mirage. Rubenstein does a little dance to reset his feet.
Mirage scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Mirage avoids the body shot from Rubenstein.
It looked like Mirage wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Mirage misses with an uppercut

and Rubenstein counters with a head kick that drops Mirage - he's looking to finish, following his stunned foe to the ground!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mirage wants to control but Rubenstein is keeping busy.

Rubenstein stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Mirage misses with a body kick.
Rubenstein misses with a looping right.
Mirage scores with a head kick.
Mirage ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Mirage throws a leg kick which misses Rubenstein's front leg but catches the back leg as Rubenstein tries to avoid it.
Mirage missing with a left hand there. Rubenstein was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Rubenstein chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Mirage can pounce on him.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Alphonzo Mirage dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Alphonzo Mirage's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Mirage throws a leg kick that is checked
and Rubenstein counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Mirage to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Rubenstein!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Spencer Rubenstein!
Spencer Rubenstein seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
