Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slayin throws a leg kick but Tantor checks it.
Tantor throws a hook to the side of Slayin's head but Slayin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Slayin moves out of range of the body kick.
Slayin jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Slayin looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Slayin misses the shot to the body.
Tantor misses the shot to the body.

Tantor throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A bone on bone clash there as Tantor blocks the leg kick.
Tantor's coach down at Finnish Elite Sport and Fitness Center was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Tantor's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Tantor looks for the body kick but Slayin saw that one coming.

Tantor lands a leg kick that knocks Slayin off balance momentarily.
Tantor steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Slayin.

Tantor connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Slayin ducks right into an uppercut from Tantor.
Slayin looks to land a left hand but Tantor moved out of range nicely.
Slayin throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Tantor.
Tantor lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Tantor jabs Slayin right on the nose. Slayin blinks but takes it well.

Slayin lands a big head kick that sends Tantor tumbling to the mat! Slayin takes a step backwards and waves Tantor back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Papi Tantor has been cut.

Slayin takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Tantor has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Tantor throws a leg kick but Slayin moved away.
Slayin went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Tantor throws a nice inside leg kick.
Slayin throws a big shot that misses.
Slayin throws a body shot but no joy.
Slayin keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Tantor.
Slayin half committed to a counter leg kick.
Slayin loads up on a big right hand but Tantor slips the punch.
Slayin looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Slayin scores with a head kick. Tantor tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Tantor - that will leave a mark!
Slayin takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Tantor lands with a hook. Slayin tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Tantor pivots, looking for a leg kick but Slayin is out of range and Tantor settles back down.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Slayin gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Tantor misses with a hook from the clinch.
Slayin using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Tantor has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Slayin is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Tantor's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.
Slayin lands a left hand that snaps the head of Tantor backwards.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Slayin lands with a right to the head.
Slayin lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Tantor tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

That was a close round but I would say that Rhymin Slayin will probably get the nod.

That's time! Slayin's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Slayin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Slayin has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Tantor.

Tantor dips to his left and cracks Slayin with an uppercut!

Papi Tantor seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Tantor misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Slayin counters with a flying knee that drops Tantor! Slayin dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!
