And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rob Roy!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roy uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Urameshi.
Nice jab there from Roy.
It looks like Yusuke Urameshi has been cut.
Urameshi connects with a single shot there.
Urameshi looks to score with a jab to the body but Roy is just out of range.
Urameshi lands with a straight right. Roy didn't see that one coming.
Roy feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Urameshi sprawling to the canvas! Urameshi rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Roy finish him?!
Yusuke Urameshi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Urameshi throws a poor cross that misses
and Roy counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Urameshi out cold! What a finish! Roy is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rob Roy!
Yusuke Urameshi was interviewed post fight and said 'You shouldn't talk, it makes you sound stupid'.
