The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Stacks fails to land the takedown.
Winterbottom drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Stacks defends it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stacks shoots in for a takedown but Winterbottom shows good takedown defense.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Winterbottom closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Stacks pushes Winterbottom off and gets back to his feet.
Winterbottom goes for a double leg but Stacks avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Stacks continues to drive forward.
Stacks attempts a counter takedown but Winterbottom avoids it well and moves away.

Stacks shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Winterbottom wriggles free and stands up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stacks goes for a double leg but Winterbottom avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Winterbottom continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kieron Stacks. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Winterbottom tries to break the clinch but Stacks is controlling the position.

Stacks breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Stacks closes this distance looking for a takedown but Winterbottom circles away.

Stacks manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Winterbottom on his heels. He'll look to pass Winterbottom's guard now, I'm sure.
Stacks wanted to stand there but Winterbottom had control of the position.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Andy Winterbottom.
