Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herro with a nice cross.
Herro scores with a jab. Herrera acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Herrera takes the fight into the clinch.
Herro lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Herrera wants to break free but Herro has control.
Herro stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Herrera has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Herro avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Herrera tries for a takedown but Herro manages to get underhooks.

Herro breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Herro gets caught napping as Herrera dives in and scores a takedown. Herro manages to retain guard.
Herrera stops Herro from standing up.
Herrera chips away with some ground and pound.

Herrera decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Herro, up you get!

Herro scores with a one two! Herrera had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Herro looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Herro moves into the clinch.
Herro lands with a short shot to the head.

Herro pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Herrera throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Herro was covering up waiting for the punch and Herrera finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Herro wants to stand but Herrera is controlling the position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Herro has momentary wrist control but Herrera slips an elbow through the middle.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Herrera drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Herro dives on top into guard.

Herro won't allow Herrera to get back to his feet.

Herrera working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Herro doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Herro manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Herrera on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Herrera tries to get out of the position.

Herro stands up and waves to Herrera to follow him.
Herro throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Herrera stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Herrera misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nice straight punches there by Herrera. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Herrera.
A right-left combo lands from Herro.
Herrera closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Herrera takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Herro clinches.
Herro effectively controlling the action here.

Herro breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Herrera fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pacho Herrera. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Herro lands a left and a right that send Herrera crashing to the mat, dazed. Herro thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Herro cracks Herrera with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Herrera looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Herro finish him?

Herrera is rocked!
Herrera blocks a head kick by Herro.
Oh Herrera is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Tanner Herro dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Herrera tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Herro swivels and escapes.
Herrera seems to have got his legs back now.
Herro has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Herro leaves Herrera with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Herrera throws a half hearted mid kick.

Herrera fails with an attempt to clinch.

Herrera fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Herro, pushing him back against the cage.
Herro lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Herro's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Herrera tries a low kick but Herro avoids it.
Herro throws a right and a left that both miss.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Herro sends Herrera crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Herro is motioning to the referee to let Herrera up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Herro gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Herro breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Nice uppercut lands for Herro. That snapped Herrera's head back.
Oh Herrera is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Herro throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Herrera seems to have got his legs back now.
Herrera on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Herrera takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Herrera tries to clinch there but Herro circles away.
Herrera has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Herro finds it's way round the side to connect with Herrera's head.
