Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robert Lee (ranked 4343 p4p, 5540 weight class) and Maurice Kicker (ranked 570 p4p, 666 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Robert Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Maurice Kicker!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kicker tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Lee counters with a single leg into guard. Kicker didn't expect that.
Lee's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Lee is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lee accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lee slips nicely into half guard.

Lee is working for a kimura but Kicker is defending it quite comfortably.

Lee frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Kicker can't escape the position.

Kicker has left one of his arms exposed and Lee doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Kicker screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

After winning the bout, Robert Lee thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
