Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nilson Acacio (ranked 4089 p4p, 24565 weight class) and Luke Moxley (ranked 373 p4p, 543 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nilson Acacio!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Luke Moxley !
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Acacio misses the jab.
Moxley shoots in for a takedown but Acacio shows good takedown defense.
Moxley has his takedown stuffed
and Acacio counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Luke Moxley has been cut.
Moxley is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Moxley shoots in looking for a takedown. Acacio tries to sprawl out of it but Moxley keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Acacio manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Nilson Acacio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luke Moxley .
Moxley shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Moxley takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looked like Acacio wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

and Acacio counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Acacio counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Moxley out cold! What a finish! Acacio is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
