PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Wayne (ranked 3558 p4p, 5322 weight class) and Wet Blanket (ranked 461 p4p, 588 weight class). The key to victory for Michael Wayne has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Michael Wayne!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Wet Blanket!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wayne tests Blanket's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Blanket wants to clinch up but Wayne keeps it at a distance.
Blanket throws a sloppy head kick and Wayne moves out of range easily.
Wayne looks to score with a jab to the body but Blanket is just out of range.
Blanket looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Wayne throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Blanket tries to clinch up
and Wayne counters with a nice body kick.
Blanket stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Blanket wants it to stay on the feet.
Wayne throws a lazy right hand but Blanket sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
