Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Esa Linhares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Einari Mohko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mohko is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Timo Rautiainen & Trio Niskalaukaus - Älä enää lyö. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mohko throws a low kick but Linhares avoids it.
Linhares pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Mohko wants to get back to full guard.
Linhares is trying to control the action in half guard but Mohko is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Linhares seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Linhares lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Linhares is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mohko is just riding it out for now. Linhares eventually gives up the hold.

Mohko bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Linhares's guard.

Linhares is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Linhares is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Mohko keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Linhares's head.
Mohko slips nicely into half guard.
Linhares wants to improve his position but Mohko is controlling well.
Mohko looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Linhares with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mohko looks to land a combination but Linhares avoids it well.
Mohko just misses with a punch to the body.
Mohko throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Linhares sees it coming and avoids it easily.

and Linhares counters with a shoot takedown. Mohko fights it but they end up in guard.
Connects with an elbow from the bottom, proving to the judges that he's still active off his back.

Mohko is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Linhares frees his head nicely. Oh but Mohko has switched to an armbar! Linhares is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
