Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sevastian Kulikov!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Fedor Mirinova and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kulikov circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kulikov gets a takedown into half guard.
Welch is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Welch is looking to control Kulikov's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Welch avoid being mounted?
Kulikov performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kulikov is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Welch!
Welch is trying to reverse the position but instead Kulikov has taken his back - oops!
Kulikov has the hooks in. Welch is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
Kulikov trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Welch doesn't escape.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Kulikov has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Welch! Can he survive? No! He's out! Kulikov gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
