PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Www Www (ranked 25044 p4p, 4946 weight class) and Zoran Zeno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zeno moves to clinch but Www breaks away
and Www counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Zeno tries to clinch there but Www circles away.
It looked like Www was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Zeno.
Zeno tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Www manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Www appears to be looking for a big counter.

Www manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Zeno on his heels. He'll look to pass Zeno's guard now, I'm sure.

Zeno pushes Www off and gets back to his feet.
Zeno tries to clinch there but Www circles away.
Www was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Zeno throws a right and a left that Www avoids nicely.

Www throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Zeno was covering up waiting for the punch and Www finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Www won't allow Zeno to sweep him here.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Www knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zeno on the ground.

Www stands up and beckons Zeno to join him on the feet.

Zeno tries to score a power double leg takedown but Www sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Zeno somewhat.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Zeno goes for a double leg but Www avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Www continues to drive forward.

That was a close round but I would say that Www Www will probably get the nod.

Zeno tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Www defends well and Zeno ends up having to push Www into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Zeno is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Www has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Zeno is proving hard to escape from.

Zeno has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Www can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Www is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Zeno darts in looking for a takedown but Www gets double underhooks and turns Zeno into the cage.
A quick step to the side and Www tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Www closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Www lands in his opponent's guard.
