Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Blue Palm (ranked 5431 p4p, 5958 weight class) and Eugene Whibley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Blue Palm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Eugene Whibley!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Winston Alpacca and Dirk Anderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whibley lands with a good body shot.
A jab from Whibley finds it's way through Palm's defenses.

It looks like Blue Palm has been cut.

Palm really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Palm drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Whibley is trying to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Palm gets to mount! Whibley was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Palm has control of Whibley's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Whibley regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Whibley escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Palm gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Whibley manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Palm manages to get himself to full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Whibley has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Palm gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Palm closes the distance but Whibley moves to the side
and Whibley counters with a good low kick that Palm was not able to check.
Eugene Whibley is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Palm takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Whibley pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Whibley fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Palm has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Blue Palm has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Eugene Whibley comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Whibley has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
