Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fyodor Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brutus Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Emelianenko has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Fyodor Emelianenko has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Ivan Kurochkin and Vladimir Khabensky.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hayes shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Hayes was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Emelianenko is breathing heavily.
Hayes trying to control but Emelianenko is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hayes pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Hayes looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Hayes avoids the attempt from Emelianenko to control.

Hayes is trying to get an arm triangle but Emelianenko is defending well.

Hayes decides to stand back up. Hayes steps back and let's Emelianenko get back to his feet.

Hayes rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Emelianenko moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Hayes decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Hayes seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Emelianenko throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Emelianenko has one foot on Hayes's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Fyodor Emelianenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Emelianenko swats away the attempt to clinch by Hayes.

Emelianenko shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Emelianenko won't allow Hayes to get back to his feet.
Emelianenko throws and elbow that misses. Hayes uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Emelianenko's guard. Nice move by Hayes!

and Emelianenko counters with a takedown into side control.

Emelianenko has an Americana. Hayes didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Emelianenko is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Emelianenko hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
