Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Steve Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Madmen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steve Wright has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Steve Wright!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Tony Madmen!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madmen shoots in for a double leg but Wright sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Madmen throws a head kick but Wright moves out of range.
Wright fails in his attempt to clinch.
Wright tries a head kick but it misses.
Madmen is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Madmen jabs Wright right on the nose. Wright blinks but takes it well.
Wright misses with a takedown attempt

and Madmen counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Madmen trying to control but Wright is working from the bottom.
Madmen trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Wright has control of Madmen's left arm, preventing Madmen from doing any damage.
Madmen lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wright controls Madmen momentarily but Madmen frees himself.
Madmen stands and throws Wright's legs to the side, diving into side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wright wants to get back to his feet but Madmen drags him back down.

Madmen is working to tighten is grip on Wright's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Wright has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Madmen is really squeezing tight and eventually Wright passes out! Madmen breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
