Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rustam Tsubekov (ranked 4584 p4p, 4339 weight class) and Eder Teixeira (ranked 591 p4p, 570 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tsubekov throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Teixeira tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Tsubekov is in Teixeira's guard.
Teixeira is wriggling around but Tsubekov manages to pass to half guard.

Tsubekov looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Tsubekov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Teixeira tries to avoid it but Tsubekov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Teixeira to the ground. Teixeira escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Tsubekov is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Teixeira to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Teixeira shrugs it off.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Teixeira can do anything to dispel that myth.

Tsubekov has hold of Teixeira's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Teixeira manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rustam Tsubekov will probably get the nod.

Tsubekov's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rustam Tsubekov.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Tsubekov, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
