Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zach Ghostkeeper (ranked 3203 p4p, 3015 weight class) and Frank Dux (ranked 400 p4p, 382 weight class). Frank Dux has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Zach Ghostkeeper's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Michael Johnstone and David Hoff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dux is looking to clinch but Ghostkeeper is avoiding it.
Ghostkeeper throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dux.

Ghostkeeper clinches.
Ghostkeeper throws a punch but it's blocked by Dux.
Ghostkeeper working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Ghostkeeper slowing the pace effectively.
Ghostkeeper is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Ghostkeeper is pushing Dux up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Ghostkeeper swings away with an uppercut that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dux drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dux blocks a body shot from Ghostkeeper.
Ghostkeeper has Dux pressed against the cage.

Ghostkeeper breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Ghostkeeper rushes Dux and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Ghostkeeper misses with a punch on the inside.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Ghostkeeper.
A nice left hand lands by Ghostkeeper.
Dux's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Ghostkeeper swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Ghostkeeper swings wildly with an uppercut but Dux uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ghostkeeper controlling the action here for a moment.
Dux wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Dux is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Ghostkeeper pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Ghostkeeper lands with a right to the head.

Dux drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ghostkeeper gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Zach Ghostkeeper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Dux.

Dux jumps guard and drags Ghostkeeper to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Ghostkeeper pushes down on Dux's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Ghostkeeper looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dux slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Ghostkeeper trying to control the position from guard on top but Dux is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Ghostkeeper is really struggling to control Dux but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Dux is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Dux works his way into full mount!
Dux takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Ghostkeeper is looking to get to half guard.
Dux fails to advance to Ghostkeeper's back.

Ghostkeeper is desperately trying to improve his position but Dux has a good base and remains in mount.
Ghostkeeper is working hard here to advance position.
Dux lands a couple of good shots and Ghostkeeper has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

I would not like to be Ghostkeeper right now.
Ghostkeeper knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dux on the ground.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dux is working for a rear naked choke. Ghostkeeper is not defending it well and Dux has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Ghostkeeper refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Ghostkeeper's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Frank Dux!
In his post fight interview, Frank Dux started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
