Wright comes to the cage accompanied by Big Bad John. Norris has chosen Harva meistä on rautaa as his entrance music. Chuck Norris has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norris thumps Wright with a low kick.

Norris has managed to clinch.

Wright lands a takedown into guard.
Wright stopping the sweep attempt from Norris.

Norris escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wright gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Norris has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wright can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Wright looking to pass the guard.
Norris wants to stand and escape but Wright is having none of it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wright won't allow Norris to sweep him here.

Norris is looking for a triangle but Wright pushes his legs off easily.

Wright decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Wright throws a series of punches but Norris avoids them all with ease.
Wright shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Norris pinned against the cage. Norris gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Norris looks to land a combination. Wright sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looks like John Wright has been cut.
Wright is breathing heavily.
Norris lands with a big left! Wright is wobbled badly! Norris comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Wright to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
