Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nyah Hirst (ranked 1805 p4p, 1869 weight class) and Jin Yi (ranked 282 p4p, 290 weight class). Yi is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Wobble. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jin Yi!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Chris Dean and Francis DeMontford.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yi darts in looking for a takedown but Hirst gets double underhooks and turns Yi into the cage.

Yi shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Yi looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Yi sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Yi throws a strike but Hirst avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Yi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hirst swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Yi trying to control the position from guard on top but Hirst is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Yi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hirst is keeping the position for now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Yi is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Let's hope that Yi has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Yi looking to sit in guard and control but Hirst gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Hirst has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Yi to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Hirst is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Yi pulls down on the head and he's put Hirst to sleep! This one is all over!
