Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jozef De Vries!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mohammed looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mohammed uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by De Vries.
Mohammed jabbing away but nothing is landing.
De Vries throws a lazy right hand but Mohammed sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

De Vries throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A little feinted left hand from Mohammed on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
De Vries ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mohammed moves away.
De Vries takes one to the side of the head.
We've been told by Mohammed's head coaches at Desert Fitness & Training (14 Elite Coaches) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
De Vries just misses with a punch to the body.
Sloppy strikes from Mohammed. Those never looked like landing.

Mohammed is looking for a counter combo.
Mohammed connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed De Vries momentarily.
De Vries throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
De Vries takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
De Vries uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mohammed.
Osama Mohammed is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mohammed gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows De Vries to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Mohammed is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and De Vries dives into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mohammed wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

De Vries is working to tighten his grip on Mohammed's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Mohammed has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but De Vries is really squeezing tight and eventually Mohammed passes out! De Vries breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Jozef De Vries looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'Where... Where... WHERE DA FRIES AT?'.
