Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Javier Arroyo (ranked 5748 p4p, 4407 weight class) and Gueremo Dos Santos (ranked 558 p4p, 495 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Javier Arroyo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gueremo Dos Santos!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Santos on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Arroyo lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Arroyo throws a big shot that misses.
Dos Santos throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Arroyo misses the jab.
Arroyo dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Dos Santos lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Arroyo circles away quickly and effectively.
Dos Santos's coach down at Bennies Boppers was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Dos Santos's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Arroyo's corner calls for a 1-2. Arroyo obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Dos Santos blocks a jab.
Dos Santos drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Arroyo defends it well.
Dos Santos drops his hands momentarily and Arroyo takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Arroyo throws a quick inside leg kick.
Arroyo moves out of range of the body kick.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Arroyo misses with an uppercut. Dos Santos saw that one coming.
Dos Santos drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Arroyo defends it well.

Dos Santos tries to counter by closing the distance.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Arroyo just leaning against Dos Santos, taking a breather.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Arroyo lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Arroyo presses Dos Santos against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Dos Santos blocks a body shot from Arroyo.
Arroyo pulls guard effortlessly.
Arroyo is looking to cinch up a triangle. Dos Santos throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Arroyo's body to avoid the submission. Arroyo has instead reached around Dos Santos's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Arroyo arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Javier Arroyo!
