Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cesare Borgia (ranked 871 p4p, 988 weight class) and Ryan Gordon (ranked 130 p4p, 145 weight class). Borgia comes to the cage accompanied by Eye Of The Tiger. Ryan Gordon struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.9lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Ryoma Takatsuka and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordon on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Gordon looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Gordon tries to score a power double leg takedown but Borgia sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gordon somewhat.
Borgia feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Gordons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Borgia, as that shot connected.

We've been informed that Gordon has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Borgia looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gordon with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
