Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pete Kiloe (ranked 906 p4p, 2232 weight class) and Max Harris (ranked 127 p4p, 288 weight class). Kiloe comes to the cage accompanied by Boys Noize - Lava Lava. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kiloe misses with a body shot.
Kiloe looks to score with a jab to the body but Harris is just out of range.

Kiloe has taken the fight to the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kiloe definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Max Harris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kiloe throws a body punch but Harris moves out of range.
Kiloe takes a swing at Harris's ribcage but misses.

Kiloe scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Harris doesn't seem bothered though.
Kiloe tries to close the distance and clinch up but Harris swats him away and circles back towards the center.
We've been informed that Harris has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Harris takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Kiloe dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Kiloe tries to clinch but Harris is having none of it.
Harris keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Harris stuns Kiloe with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Harris throws a series of punches but Kiloe avoids them all with ease.
Harris paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Kiloe ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Harris moves away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Kiloe takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Come on Harris - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Harris breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kiloe moves in looking to clinch but Harris pushes him off.
Harris finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Kiloe tries to close the distance and clinch but Harris swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kiloe just misses with a punch to the body.
Harris misses the shot to the body.
Harris scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Harris throws a shot to the body.
Kiloe throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kiloe misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Harris misses with the combination.
Kiloe throws a body shot but no joy.
Kiloe is looking to wear down Harris with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Kiloe clinches.

Harris breaks the clinch.
Harris slips a jab and a cross from Kiloe.
Harris jabs Kiloe to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Kiloe doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Kiloe moves into the clinch.
Kiloe misses with a body punch.

Harris pulls guard effortlessly.

Kiloe decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Harris, up you get!
Kiloe cracks Harris with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Harris throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kiloe wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Harris walks into a left hand.

Harris is rocked!

Harris's corner calls for a 1-2. Harris obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Harris is still on wobbly legs! Can Kiloe finish him?
Harris misses with a series of wild punches.
Harris seems to have recovered his senses.
Harris takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Harris avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kiloe plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Harris swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Harris face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
