The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jensen tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Petrov defends well and Jensen ends up having to push Petrov into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Petrov wants to take the fight to the mat but Jensen manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Jensen misses with a short punch on the inside.
Petrov lands a left hand.
A head punch on the inside from Jensen fails to land.
Jensen works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Jensen looking to improve position, pressing down on Petrov's thigh with his hand. Petrov seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Jensen paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Jensen's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Petrov picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
