Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bjorn Akerfeldt (ranked 925 p4p, 1923 weight class) and Rogerio Duarte (ranked 136 p4p, 270 weight class). Bjorn Akerfeldt is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rogerio Duarte!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Damien Edna and Chris Dean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duarte gets caught napping as Akerfeldt dives in and scores a takedown. Duarte manages to retain guard.

Akerfeldt isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Duarte stacks Akerfeldt on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Duarte!

Akerfeldt uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Duarte.

Akerfeldt postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Duarte is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Akerfeldt, into his guard.

Akerfeldt darts in looking for a takedown but Duarte gets double underhooks and turns Akerfeldt into the cage.

Rogerio Duarte showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Duarte connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Akerfeldt looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Akerfeldt thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Akerfeldt swings around for an armbar but Duarte sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Akerfeldt's guard.

Duarte fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Akerfeldt has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Rogerio Duarte comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Duarte has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
