PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Danny Young (ranked 4954 p4p, 6281 weight class) and Choi Kang Ta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Young throws a series of punches but Kang Ta avoids them all with ease.
Young jabs Kang Ta to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Young clinches.
Young tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Kang Ta keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Young's efforts to push away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kang Ta goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Young turns into him and now he's in Kang Ta's guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Despite the aggression on Kang Ta's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Young shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kang Ta eats them both and turns towards Young to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

With the fighters up against the cage, Kang Ta throws an elbow but misses.
Young stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
