Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Renoa Gracie (ranked 2708 p4p, 5339 weight class) and Artem Petrov (ranked 163 p4p, 274 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie scores with a takedown into Petrov's guard.

Petrov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gracie gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Petrov is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Gracie defends well.

Petrov has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Gracie is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Petrov.
Petrov tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Gracie controls the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gracie has the hooks in. Petrov is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. Gracie passes his arm under Petrov's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, Petrov taps!
