The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coppola tries to clinch there but Hanley circles away.
Coppola tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hanley swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hanley uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Coppola.
A little jabbing left from Hanley on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Hanley is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Coppola's half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Coppola is looking for a sweep. Hanley is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
