The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kreischer keeps the fight on the outside.
Mendoza shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kreischer defends it nicely.

Mendoza gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Kreischer tries to work over Mendoza's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Kreischer ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mendoza moves away.

Kreischer gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Mendoza to score an easy takedown into full guard.
