The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spain gets caught flat footed, as Falco shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Spain manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Spain breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Spain tries to land a front kick but Falco steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Spain bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Spain cracks Falco with a big right hand but Falco just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
