Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dak Ho (ranked 4777 p4p, 6270 weight class) and Justin Fernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Justin Fernandez!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ho dives in for a single leg takedown but Fernandez sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Fernandez is trying to maintain a safe position but Ho gets an underhook and turns Fernandez into the cage.
Ho prevents a takedown attempt there.

Ho pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Fernandez is looking to clinch but Ho is avoiding it.

Ho closes the distance and clinches.
Ho lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Ho escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fernandez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ho paws at him with a jab and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fernandez dives in for a single leg takedown but Ho sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Ho shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Fernandez as he jumps to the side.
Ho shoots in but no luck this time.

Ho really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Ho postures up in Fernandez's guard and throws a big left but Fernandez blocks it.

Ho forces Fernandez back against the cage and clinches.

Ho decides to pull guard.
Ho is looking to stand up but Fernandez isn't so interested in that idea.

Ho is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Fernandez presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
Ho tries to throw a body punch but Fernandez avoids it by throwing Ho back against the cage.

Ho breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ho displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Fernandez.
A slow jab from Ho misses its intended target.
Ho circles away from the clinch attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fernandez.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Fernandez fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ho is looking for a counter combo.
Fernandez shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ho as he jumps to the side.
Ho lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Fernandez throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Ho displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Fernandez.
Ho shoots in looking for a takedown but Fernandez manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ho's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
No luck for Fernandez with that takedown attempt.

Ho has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Fernandez avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Fernandez drops back, looking for a kneebar! Ho looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Ho looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Ho!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Ho lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
