Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dill Nickle (ranked 3795 p4p, 3423 weight class) and Kon Kojuro (ranked 354 p4p, 326 weight class). Kojuro is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Love Missile F1-11. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nickle fails with a takedown attempt.

and Kojuro counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Nickle shoots for a double leg takedown but Kojuro sprawls well. He's pushed Nickle's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dill Nickle. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nickle takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Kojuro lands a really nice looking cross but Nickle seems unphased.

Nickle closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kojuro quickly recovers to half guard.

Kojuro really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nickle. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
