Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Moe Moose (ranked 4896 p4p, 4817 weight class) and Michael Hobo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moose gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Hobo counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Moose had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hobo defends it easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Moose wants to sweep but no luck.

Hobo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Moose has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hobo has managed to get both his arms back between Moose's legs - danger averted.

Hobo is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Moose is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Moose has escaped and now he's on top!

Moose is looking to stand up but Hobo won't let him.

Moose drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hobo looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hobo looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hobo!

Hobo takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Moose is rocked!
Hobo looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Moose with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Oh Moose is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hobo lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Moose! More strikes land and this one is all over! Hobo jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
