Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Vegas (ranked 4448 p4p, 22491 weight class) and Rob Roy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 11 - 3, fighting out of Montreal, Johnny Vegas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rob Roy!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Steve Montenegro and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roy ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Roy defending well as Vegas loads up on a big left hand.
Roy is looking for the big counter here.
Roy takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Vegas throws a jab but it's blocked by Roy.
Roy throws a body kick that misses
and Vegas counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Roy takes one on the button.
Vegas is looking to chop away at Roy's legs.
Roy looks to score with a jab to the body but Vegas is just out of range.
Roy circles away from the clinch attempt
and Roy cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Roy misses with a low kick.
Vegas throws a hook but Roy avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Roy comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Roy misses with a hook
and Vegas counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Roy thinking.
Vegas tries a low kick but Roy avoids it.
Roy throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Roy misses the shot to the body.
Vegas moves in looking to clinch but Roy pushes him off.
Roy flicks out a counter leg kick but Vegas steps away.
Vegas's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Roy connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Vegas scrambles back to his feet.
Vegas connects with a jab.
Vegas throws out a leg kick but Roy moves out of range and Vegas only half commits.
Vegas misses with a hook. Roy ducked under it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Roy loads up on a big right hand but Vegas slips the punch.
An attempted straight right counter from Vegas misses the target.
Roy lands a big head kick that sends Vegas tumbling to the mat! Roy takes a step backwards and waves Vegas back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Vegas is rocked!
It looks like Johnny Vegas has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Roy connects with an inside leg kick.
Oh Vegas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Roy looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Vegas misses with an uppercut. Roy saw that one coming.
Roy steps in with a hook that catches Vegas right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Roy follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Vegas looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rob Roy!
