Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels catches Paulson with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Daniels rushes Paulson and presses him up against the cage.

Daniels pulls guard successfully.
Daniels utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Daniels is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Daniels looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Daniels working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Paulson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Paulson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Paulson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Paulson postures up in Daniels's guard and throws a big left but Daniels blocks it.
Paulson postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Paulson thows a big elbow that misses.
Daniels thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Paulson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Daniels is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Paulson, into his guard.

Daniels trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Paulson has an active guard here but Daniels has managed to pass into half guard.

Paulson is looking to sinch up a triangle. Daniels throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Paulson's body to avoid the submission. Paulson has instead reached around Daniels's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Paulson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
