The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mill fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Goatamura to the ground. Mill is now in Goatamura's guard.
Goatamura is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Mill dives into side control.

Goatamura gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Goatamura tries to lock up and control but Mill gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Mill lands a big shot there that rocks Goatamura but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Mill working for a guillotine from mount but Goatamura is in no mood to give up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mill has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Mill postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Goatamura looks a forlorn figure.

Mill has hold of Goatamura's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Goatamura manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Goatamura really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mill. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mill prevents Goatamura from getting the reversal.

Mill is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Goatamura has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Mill has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Goatamura taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Mill doesn't care though - he's delighted!
