Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between KJ Wassermann (ranked 2081 p4p, 3407 weight class) and Marques Moura (ranked 262 p4p, 417 weight class). Moura has chosen Sepultura - Tainted Love as his entrance music. The key to victory for KJ Wassermann has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, KJ Wassermann!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Marques Moura!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Michael Johnstone and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moura gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Moura is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Wassermann gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Wassermann.
Moura is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Wassermann definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Moura's coach down at Big Island Fitness was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Moura's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Wassermann throws a big uppercut that drops Moura! More strikes from Wassermann and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Moura lies dazed against the cage as Wassermann celebrates with his cornermen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). KJ Wassermann!
A relieved looking KJ Wassermann thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Marques Moura was interviewed post fight and said 'Seja dono da sua boca, para não ser escravo de suas palavras.'.
