Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Perry Platypus (ranked 4136 p4p, 25408 weight class) and Pat Poutine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Perry Platypus is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Perry Platypus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Pat Poutine!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Bart Greer and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Platypus rushes Poutine and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Platypus is working for takedown but Poutine is calmly controlling the position for now.
Platypus tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Platypus is trying to drag Poutine to the mat but Poutine just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Poutine pushes Platypus off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Platypus swings around for an armbar but Poutine sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Platypus's guard.

Poutine got a little sloppy there for a moment and Platypus has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Poutine has managed to get both his arms back between Platypus's legs - danger averted.

That was a close round but I would say that Perry Platypus will probably get the nod.

Platypus has hold of Poutine's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Poutine tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Platypus cranks the arm and Poutine screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Poutine, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
