Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Muk Bong (ranked 2757 p4p, 6401 weight class) and Bruno Butch (ranked 330 p4p, 0 weight class). Muk Bong has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butch avoids the head kick by Bong.

Bong throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Butch was covering up waiting for the punch and Bong finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Bong tries to stand but Butch is controlling from the bottom.
Bong is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Bong avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bong is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Butch working for a triangle but Bong defends it easily.

Butch is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Bong not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Bong will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Butch escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bong gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Bong is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bong seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Butch for as long as he can get away with.

Butch has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Bong doesn't defend quickly enough and Butch has managed to lock this one up! Can Bong escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Butch on a fantastic submission victory.
