Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Skooch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Biggie Smalls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Skooch as Smalls shoots in.
A head kick lands from Skooch that sends Smalls to the canvas. Smalls tries to scramble back to his feet but Skooch brings him back down into side control.
Smalls is rocked!
It looks like Biggie Smalls has been cut.
Smalls is looking to regain half guard here but Skooch keeps moving and retains side control.
Smalls is still in real trouble! Can Skooch finish him?
Skooch tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Skooch tries to stand but Smalls controls the position and pulls Skooch into his guard.

Skooch's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Smalls lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Skooch hang on?

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Skooch defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Smalls.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Smalls has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Skooch's face.

A jab-cross combination lands for Skooch and sends Smalls crashing to the mat! Skooch follows him down to the mat - Smalls regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Skooch looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Smalls with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That has opened up Biggie Smalls's cut even more.
Smalls is holding on to half guard well.
Let's hope that Smalls has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Smalls has eaten all the pies!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Pedro Skooch will probably get the nod.

Skooch tries to clinch but Smalls is having none of it.
Skooch drops Smalls with a right and a left! Skooch comes rushing in but Smalls regains his composure and manages to keep Skooch in guard.
