Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomer shoots in and drives through. Theodore sprawls well.
Gomer dives in for a single leg takedown but Theodore sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Theodore wants to clinch up but Gomer keeps it at a distance.
It seemed like Gomer was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Gomer displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Theodore.

Theodore tries to buck Gomer off but Gomer is having none of it.

Gomer wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Theodore, who protects the arm well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
