The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sullivan feints a jab promting Richardson to slip. Sullivan then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Richardson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Paulie Richardson's cut is getting worse.
Richardson is breathing heavily.
Sullivan scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Sullivan throws a combination. Richardson tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Nice body punch from Sullivan.
Sullivan lands a slapping body shot.
Sullivan lands with a kick to the temple. Richardson shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Sullivan scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Paulie Richardson's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Sullivan fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Richardson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Sullivan lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Richardson backs up against the cage.
John Sullivan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sullivan works over Richardson's head and body with a nice combination.

Richardson is rocked!
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Sullivan moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Richardson! Sullivan continues to tee off on Richardson, landing with a left and a right! Sullivan connects with a right hand that leaves Richardson sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Sullivan!
