The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karhu lands with a nice body punch.
Karhu punishes Rabbitte's body with a nice straight punch.
Karhu blocks a head kick by Rabbitte.
Rabbitte throws a sloppy head kick and Karhu moves out of range easily.
Karhu throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Karhu connects with a jab.

It looks like Paul Rabbitte has been cut.
We've been told by Karhu's head coaches at Malmi Aitta that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Karhu lands a glancing blow to the side of Rabbitte's head.
Rabbitte lands a front kick.
Karhu finds Rabbitte's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Rabbitte flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Karhu lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Rabbitte will be OK.
